Effective date: 2026-05-12
These Terms govern access to Wildlight’s consumer planning platform, dashboard, alerts, and associated beta features.
By creating an account, completing checkout, or using Wildlight, you agree to these Terms of Service. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
Wildlight provides model-assisted condition intelligence, timing guidance, and planning tools for selected parks. The service is currently offered on a beta basis. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued. Forecasts, narratives, and recommendations may include AI-assisted or model-generated outputs.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify Wildlight promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You authorize Wildlight to charge your payment method at the stated billing interval. You may cancel before the next renewal from the billing portal available in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless applicable law requires a different result. Except where required by law, partial-period refunds are not provided. If Wildlight changes pricing for an existing paid plan, notice will be given before the new price applies to a future renewal.
You may not scrape the service, reverse engineer the product, resell or share access, interfere with platform performance, upload unlawful or infringing content, or use Wildlight to harass, deceive, or harm others.
You retain ownership of your field notes, uploads, and other content you submit. You grant Wildlight a non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate the service for you. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that doing so does not violate the law or another person’s rights.
Wildlight and its software, models, scoring systems, narratives, dashboards, visual design, and planning data remain Wildlight property or the property of its licensors. Wildlight grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the service for your personal, non-commercial use during an active subscription.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE BASIS. WILDLIGHT IS NOT A SAFETY SERVICE. PREDICTIONS, NARRATIVES, RECOMMENDATIONS, AND CONFIDENCE SCORES ARE ESTIMATES AND MAY BE INACCURATE, INCOMPLETE, DELAYED, OR UNSUITABLE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC TRIP. CONDITIONS IN NATURE CAN CHANGE RAPIDLY. ALWAYS CHECK OFFICIAL PARK, ROAD, WEATHER, AND SAFETY SOURCES BEFORE TRAVELING OR MAKING FIELD DECISIONS.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wildlight is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, trip costs, or personal field decisions made in reliance on the service. Wildlight’s aggregate liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Wildlight in the twelve months before the claim arose or $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold Wildlight harmless from claims arising from your content, your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.
Wildlight may suspend or terminate access for fraud, abuse, non-payment, security risk, legal risk, or violation of these Terms. You may end your relationship with Wildlight by canceling your subscription and, if desired, requesting account deletion. If Wildlight discontinues the beta entirely, it aims to provide reasonable notice and, where appropriate, refund the unused portion of prepaid subscription time.
Wildlight may update these Terms from time to time. Material updates will be posted with an updated effective date, and Wildlight may also provide email or in-product notice before the change takes effect. Continued use after a material update may require renewed acceptance.
If you believe content on Wildlight infringes your copyright, send a notice identifying the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material, its location on the service, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act. Wildlight may remove or disable challenged content and may terminate repeat infringers.
If one provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce one provision is not a waiver of future enforcement. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without Wildlight’s consent. Wildlight may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of its business. These Terms, together with referenced policies, form the entire agreement between you and Wildlight regarding the service unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
